    Job Description

    Job scope:
    As an Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s inventory levels. Your primary focus will be on ensuring accurate stock levels, coordinating with various departments to track inventory movement, and implementing efficient inventory control procedures. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

    Reports to the Commercial Manager

    Key Accountabilities

    - Inventory Management. Monitor and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including stock quantities, locations, and movement, on a daily, weekly and annual basis. - Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile variances between actual and recorded inventory.
    - Order Fulfillment. Collaborate with eh purchasing and sales teams to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Coordinate the picking, packing and shipping processes to meet customer demand.
    - Receiving and Inspection. Oversee the receiving process for incoming goods and verify that shipments match purchase orders. Conduct inspections to ensure the quality and condition of received items meet company standards.
    - Stock Rotation. Implement and manage stock rotation procedures to prevent product obsolescence and spoilage.
    - Monitor expiration dates and coordinate with relevant departments to manage timely product turnover.
    - Data Analysis. Utilize inventory management software and tools to analyze data and generate reports on stock levels, turnover rates, and forecasting. Identify trends and provide insights to optimize inventory levels and purchasing decisions.
    - Collaboration. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and sales to ensure seamless coordination in inventory-related activities. Communicate effectively to address any issues related to inventory availability or discrepancies.
    - Continuous Improvement. Identify opportunities to streamline and prove inventory processes. Implement best practices to enhance overall efficiency in inventory management,
    - Compliance. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to inventory management. Keep abreast of changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance

    By taking on the role of Inventory Specialist, you will contribute to the efficient operation of the company by ensuring accurate and optimized inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs and waste.


    Skills Required

    - Degree in Business, Supply Management or related field
    - Proven experience in inventory management or related field
    - Familiarity with Inventory management software and tools
    - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    - Excellent organizational and time management abilities
    - Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    - Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy.
    - Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
