Job Description
• Assist with all work authorization procedures and processes prior to the execution of planned works.
• Ensure the Construction Work Inspection Plan matrix (CWIP), specification requirements and the certification standards are always followed.
• Monitor and ensure all inspection checklists are strictly adhered to; document and rectify all non-conformances.
• Assist Quality Manager with the development of quality root analysis and investigation.
• Assist the Quality Manager with audits and support the development of internal directives as per Company prerogatives.
• Organise and provide training to subcontractors and supervisors concerning all site quality standards applicable to the Project.
• Monitor and manage all processes related to laboratory testing and sampling activities.
• Monitor and manage all processes related batch plant activities on site.
• Perform final inspection for all approved executable works with the Employer and/or his Representatives.
• Author and update the quality inspection reports.
• Ensure the correct management and calibration of test and measurement instruments is maintained.
• Collaborate with the Site Supervising Engineers to identify work samples for lab testing and validation per design requirements, applicable regulations, and other special conditions.
Salary: 3.300 $ net (depending on skills, experience, and location)
Skills Required
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Quality Management field. Supervisory experience is an asset.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think critically.
• In depth knowledge of similar construction projects and quality procedures.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications.
